Desert Whisper

Desert Whisper is a private desert hideaway for two, set in the Namib Desert within easy reach of Sesriem and Sossusvlei. Created for couples wanting space, privacy and an uninterrupted sense of seclusion, it offers a more intimate way to experience this part of Namibia. The setting is all wide horizons, shifting light and stillness, with the design drawing closely on the tones, textures and curves of the surrounding desert.

Here, you’re free to unwind completely or set out in search of desert adventure. Exclusive nature drives and guided walks reveal the wavy dunes, grasslands and open terrain of Gondwana Namib Park, while back at the suite the experience is entirely your own. Meals are arranged in advance around your preferences and a dedicated host looks after all the details. This works especially well for travellers looking to slow down and settle fully into the landscape.

The suite itself is single-storey, spacious and open-plan, with lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, stocked bar, bedroom and en-suite bathroom all designed to keep the desert in constant view. Outside, a terrace and private plunge pool extend the living space even further, giving you your own quiet place to sit, swim and watch the light move across the sands. Desert Whisper welcomes children aged 13 and above, and accommodates a maximum of two guests.
