Desiré is in her element when there’s a new journey on the horizon. Hand her a loose list of dreams and a mood, and she’ll happily weave it into a seamless African story. After 25 years in the industry, she’s learned that the best itineraries aren’t the ones packed to the edges. They’re the ones with enough room to actually enjoy where you are, whether that means lingering over a sundowner, watching a leopard emerge at sunrise or simply letting the bush do its thing. As a mother of twins, she also knows first-hand that family travel needs to work for more than one kind of person. Little ones, grandparents, different energy levels, different priorities... getting the balance right takes care. That instinct carries into every itinerary she plans. She listens closely, spots the details that matter and keeps refining until it feels personal rather than pre-packaged. Cape Town is home, which suits her rather well. There are beach walks, hiking trails, books, family time and, inevitably, another trip somewhere in the wings. Botswana still has a firm hold on her, while Namibia is currently making a strong case for what comes next.
