Sterrekopje Healing Farm

Sterrekopje is any retreat-seeker’s dream, located on a biodiverse farm in the foothills of the Franschhoek mountains. This is not a hotel in the traditional sense, but a working farm where regenerative practices and healing rituals shape each day. The gardens hum with life, mountains frame the horizon and the pace gently recalibrates from the moment you arrive.

Partake in the daily harvest, join breathwork sessions, soak in the Bath House and spend time in creative spaces such as the Atelier. Meals are considered, drawing directly from the soil and served communally or quietly, depending on mood. Treatments and rituals are guided by experienced practitioners and rooted in ancient practices, using herbs, oils and ingredients grown and prepared on site. There is structure here, but no pressure – participation is always an invitation, never an obligation.

There's a small collection of sanctuaries and suites scattered across the farm. Interiors are layered and tactile, with handcrafted furniture, curated art, generous bathrooms and private terraces or gardens. Every stay includes all meals, beverages, daily Bath House rituals and full access to the farm’s activities, allowing you to settle in completely. Children 16 and younger are welcome during the family retreats which fall over Christmas and Easter. Sterrekopje is a place to sleep deeply, eat well, move slowly and leave feeling genuinely reset.
