The Savuti is famous for its large population of predators – including lion, spotted hyena, leopard, African wild dog and cheetah. Savuti’s large pride of lions is well known for hunting big game like elephants. Over the years, savannahs and grasslands have replaced an ancient lake attracting a variety of wildlife. Baobab trees and rock art paintings can be found in the north of the area.

Savute’s five tents feature en suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot bucket showers. Intentionally located in remote areas of the park and moving to a different site ever five to six days, guests will be hard pressed to come across other vehicles and visitors.
