Bedouin-style tented camp & Zambian hospitality

Sausage Tree Camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, at the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia. The camp offers stunning scenery and varied wildlife viewing with land and water safaris.

The abundant Zambezi provides a haven for all kinds of wildlife and the unique opportunity to explore the area by foot, 4X4 or boat. Canoeing safaris are a popular choice for navigating the waterways also accessible by boat. Tiger fishing, game drives and bush walks are other great ways to encounter the Zambezi valley wildlife, including a variety of large game such as elephant and lion.

Eight luxurious, Bedouin style tents, rest under the shade of Sausage and Mahogany trees and are generously spaced along the bank. The seven Luxury Suites have open-air showers, a lounge area, a bar and a king size bed overlooking the private pool. 'Kigelia House' is great for small groups or families, with two en-suite bedrooms separated by an open plan living area leading onto the private deck and pool.
