Stroll silently past the Big 5 and Kruger’s other wildlife in the day and opt to spend nights on an elevated 4m-deck, allowing the calls of the wild to lull you to sleep.

Over 500 different bird species flit between the trees of Kruger, while its floor is shared by scurrying reptiles, grazing plains game such as zebra and giraffe, and the predators that stalk them. Home to the Big 5, the Kruger National Park has long been revered as South Africa’s flagship safari destination thanks to its sheer size and wealth of wildlife.
