Londolozi Tree Camp

Londolozi Tree Camp rests within the shade of a leadwood canopy, looking out over riverine forest and the life of the Sand River below. Elegant and atmospheric, it has long been one of Londolozi’s most recognisable camps, with a story shaped by lantern-lit evenings, passing elephants and the leopards that have defined the area for decades.

Every moment carries a sense of anticipation, where the wild sets the pace and each encounter feels entirely unscripted. Guided safaris take place at first light and again in the late afternoon, venturing across the vast private reserve with Londolozi’s skilled guides and trackers, whose deep knowledge of the terrain brings each sighting into sharper focus. Between safaris, you can unwind on the viewing deck, cool off in the pool or gather around the fire, with the option to enhance your stay through guided bush walks, photographic studio sessions, cultural visits, wellness treatments and boutique shopping.

Tree Camp has six suites, each designed for privacy and a direct connection to the riverine wilderness. Elevated among the trees, the suites feature Ralph Lauren-inspired interiors with bold contrasts and rich textures. Large picture windows frame passing wildlife, while private plunge pools and shaded salas invite slow afternoons watching elephants move along the river below. Evenings bring the soft glow of lanterns, the scent of the bush drifting through open spaces and the stories of a day out in the wild.
