Kwandwe Ecca Lodge

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge is a luxury lodge on malaria-free Kwandwe Private Game Reserve, about two hours’ drive from Port Elizabeth. Situated on rolling slopes overlooking an acacia valley with a backdrop of steep shale cliffs, the views are astounding. The lodge is an inviting retreat in the middle of the bush and the décor, texture and colour palette is inspired by Africa and its cultures.

Skilled rangers and trackers lead guests on morning and evening game drives exploring four distinct habitats harbouring characteristic fauna and flora. Guests are invited to partake in a thrilling on-foot Big Game tracking activity, bringing you up close and personal with the Big 5 and other wildlife. Families are welcomed with open arms at Ecca Lodge, with dedicated Family Suites complete with their own private vehicle and ranger, an onsite children's centre, as well as a range of activities offered such as kite building, scavenger hunts and board games.

This lodge focuses on embracing the wilderness, with each airy Suite opening up onto a private wooden deck, complete with an outdoor shower. The airy Suites each have spacious living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. A rim-flow lap pool and shaded teak sundeck are available to guests at the main lodge.
