Among baobabs and giant boulders in Ruaha National Park, Jabali Ridge offers breathtaking views of a vast, lesser-known wilderness that is home to significant populations of lions, elephants, buffalo and leopards. This secluded, stylish retreat is located at the ecological crossroads of East and Southern Africa and near the seasonal Mwagusi River, which means you’ll often see wildlife action as soon as you leave the camp.

Days feel unhurried and immersive. Game drives take you into Ruaha’s core wildlife areas, where large herds of elephant and buffalo move across the plains and lion prides, leopard and African wild dogs stalk the landscape. Seasonal walking safaris provide an exhilarating perspective on the landscape, while night drives reveal the nocturnal world of the wild beneath a star-studded sky. Accommodation consists of suites built into the large granite boulders, each with sweeping views, king-sized beds and private verandas with sunken lounge areas and hammocks.
