Dunia Camp is a boutique tented camp in the heart of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Uniquely, it is Africa’s first and only all-women-run safari camp. It’s set in a quiet valley yet directly near the path of the Great Migration. Expect excellent year-round wildlife encounters, from huge herds of wildebeest to zebras, elephants, giraffes, big cats and the rare black rhino near the Moru Kopjes. The dedicated team here delivers warm hospitality and a highly personal safari experience.
The camp’s location is ideal for exploring three distinct regions of the Serengeti: the predator-rich Seronera River, the dramatic Moru Kopjes and the southern plains where wildebeest calve between January and March. Enjoy twice-daily game drives, accompanied by expert guides and specially equipped 4x4 vehicles, ensuring a comfortable experience in the savannah. You can also book a hot-air balloon safari over the plains as well as unique cultural excursions.
The spacious tents have en-suite bathrooms, solar-powered electricity and private verandas overlooking the vast landscape. The camp also has a special family suite, welcoming families with children from the age of five. At dawn, you might wake up to the view of wildebeest grazing just beyond your deck, while evenings can be spent sharing the stories of the day around the outdoor fire. Dunia Camp is accessible via the Seronera Airstrip, a 45-minute drive away.
