The raised decks and winding boardwalks of Dulini River trace the riverbank beneath ebony and leadwood trees. The aesthetic is pared-back and contemporary, while the lodge feels calm and closely attuned to its surroundings. From almost every corner, the seasonal Sand River remains in view, drawing some of Africa’s most consistent Big Five sightings.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famous for its big cat population. Game drives take place twice daily in well-kitted safari vehicles, while guided walks with expert trackers bring you close to the bushveld's more intricate wonders. Between safaris, the riverbed becomes a stage for quiet moments: long lunches with a view, private massages on your terrace or time spent watching elephants and birds. Dining here ranges from bush picnics and buffet breakfasts to light lunches and dinners on the deck or in the privacy of your suite.
Accommodation is limited to a small number of chic river-facing suites, designed for privacy and views. Interiors are open-plan and include a lounge and cosy fireplace, generous bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers as well as expansive decks complete with heated plunge pools. The layout encourages a seamless indoor-outdoor flow, allowing the sights and sounds of the wild to linger. Dulini River welcomes children eight years and older.
