Designed to blend in with the surrounding natural environment, Kapinga Camp was built using as many natural materials as possible, its 'low-profile' seems to help when it comes to game viewing as most of the game seems to ignore the camps presence altogether. With just four safari tents, which are of course spacious, en-suite and well furnished in safari fashion, the camp can accommodate eight guests. But those eight are treated to a stylish and exclusive safari experience and are ensured personal attention.
The tents feature all modern conveniences, even fans, although with only a small generator to produce power, guests are asked to refrain from excessive use of the electricity. Out here who needs electricity anyway? The main areas are shaded by a green canopy of majestic trees and because they are all built on raised platforms the view across the plains is superb. Lively colours and stripes characterise the main area, comprising a lounge, dining area, camp fire and small pool under a shady tree.
