Camp Jabulani gets its name from an orphan baby elephant that was brought to the owners for rehabilitation. The owners adopted the little one, along with other orphaned elephants from Zimbabwe and the lodge soon became a sanctuary for them and other endangered species.
Despite being 5-star, Relais & Châteaux-accredited luxury in the Kapama Private Game Reserve, the accommodation at Camp Jabulani could pass almost unnoticed due to the dominating presence of the herd of elephants that call Camp Jabulani home.
There are several activities on offer including game drives, bush walks and wellness treatments. Each one is a worthy and authentic experience.
Accommodation at Camp Jabulani is opulent with rich and creamy silkiness astride raw textures and bold shapes. The 6 Thatched Suites are palatial and secluded with open-plan en-suite bathrooms, an outdoor shower and a lounge area with a fireplace.

What our clients thought
“The location and accommodation are out of this world! Food was exceptional. This was the most gourmet and wonderful of all our destinations! We had a massage in the bush and it was beautiful and so peaceful! We had a personal guide who was the most perfect gentleman. We visited the endangered species centre and were able to experience patting a cheetah. It was altogether out of this world to be so close to such beautiful animals.” - Marg and Dick Guit
