You'll have owl you need at Xigera

Paradise Island, home to Xigera Camp (pronounced Keejera), is found in a secluded corner of the famous Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The camp is surrounded by the maze of waterways that typify the world’s largest inland delta, interspersed by islands flush with riverine forests, baobabs and the elephants’ favourite – jackalberry trees.

A plethora of activities awaits, from lounging by the plunge pool on hot days, to game drives, mokoro rides, boat trips, nature walks, fishing and birding. The birds of the Delta will have avid birders twitching as the Pel’s fishing owl, rufous-bellied heron, greater swamp-warbler, and coppery-tailed coucal all call the area home. Leopard and lion sightings are frequent, and guests might also spot hyena, buffalo, elephant and the rare sitatunga antelope if they’re lucky.

The camp offers luxury raised safari tents with en-suite facilities, including an outdoor shower. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding Delta floodplains from their tents, and from the lounge and restaurant area, not to mention the traditional African boma with an open roof for star gazing.
