Gorges Lodge

From its regal perch above the Batoka Gorge and rushing Zambezi River, Gorges Lodge gives guests the chance to see eye-to-eye with the swift Verreaux’s eagle and augur buzzard who call the surrounding craggy heights home. Chisuma Village, found a short drive away, gives guests unique insight into life in rural Zimbabwe while interactions with pupils at nearby schools are sure to be a rewarding experience. Victoria Falls and its town can easily form part of a day trip, while an evening back at Gorges Lodge is perfectly concluded with a sundowner walk to Peregrine Point and traditional dancing at nightfall.

Each of the four double-storey and six single-storey Chalets of Gorges Lodge are built on raised decks with private verandahs and breathtaking views. Set in manicured gardens, each Chalet has an en suite bathroom, mini-bar, fan, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The main lodge boasts equally magnificent views of the gorge below from its lounge, dining room, and bar area.
