Situated on the doorstep of the famed Ngamo Plains in Hwange National Park, which offers fantastic summer game viewing, the camp’s excellent location grants it a wonderful overlooking position over a magnificent plain and a pan that is well-known for its consistent game, especially in the dry winter months.
Linkwasha Camp has an open design and is complemented by an eclectic mix of contemporary interiors. Eight en-suite luxury tents and one family tent look out over the surrounding plain, while the main area – including various multi-level decks, a pool area and a winter lounge with a fireplace (for the cold season) complete with library – gazes over the busy waterhole.
In the winter months, visitors can venture out by Land Rover or by foot to track lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffes, and more. In the summer months on the nearby Ngamo Plains, elephants crowd waterholes while zebras and eland graze on the open plains. Year-round, night and evening drives can yield leopard, bush baby, and pangolin sightings.
