Explore the Apartheid Museum

The Museum is a not-for-profit establishment and therefore relies on donations, contributions, and sponsorships to sustain its growth. It was designed to reflect the South African experience and is built around a garden that replicates the indigenous veld of South Africa. There are both permanent and temporary exhibitions. The permanent exhibits were organised and created by a team of curators, filmmakers, historians and designers to include film footage, photographs, text panels, and artefacts. You can also add this to a tour of Soweto for a full combo tour including entrance fees. See the Soweto day tour for more information on what all it includes.
