Savuti Camp

Savuti Camp lies in the private Linyati Concession, next to the famous Savute Channel in Botswana. As our planet’s lifeblood, water is a scarce commodity, and never more so than in this area. For many years, the Savute Channel was dry, and then, in 2008, the water returned along with an abundance of game. Now the channel is dry again, but the wildlife remains as Savute forms an important passageway between the mopane woodlands. 

Many animals call Linyati home, including a prolific elephant population, giraffe, leopard, lion, cheetah, black-backed jackal, wild dog and the extremely rare aardvark and aardwolf. Guests can enjoy game drives, night drives, nature walks, boat excursions, fishing and birding, and there’s also a raised hide for photography that can be transformed into a star bed upon request. 

The camp’s opulent accommodation consists of seven spacious walk-in tents, with one raised family unit. Other facilities include a thatched dining area, pool overlooking the river and a large viewing area with a fire deck providing wonderful views of the surrounding area.
