Mosaic Duminy Cottage

Bounded by the beautiful ocean, Hermanus Lagoon and the rugged Overberg Mountains, Mosaic Private Sanctuary is a luxury retreat laced with earthly beauty. Out of the resort’s groves of milkwood trees and fynbos gardens emerges Mosaic Duminy Cottage – a quaint stone building with a dark-wood deck, natural finishes, stone mosaics and granite counters.  

Mosaic Private Sanctuary extends to a secluded part of Walker Bay, where mountain meets sea and the waters teem with marine life. Board the "Spirit of Agnes" and set off to explore the lagoon’s abundant water bird population, from the bird sanctuary in the east to where the lagoon opens to the sea. Kayak out on to the still waters or dive beneath the surface for shark-cage diving. Watch the whales breach, spray, and tail slap as they migrate to warmer waters.

The limestone cottage features a spacious living and dining area with glass doors leading on to two verandahs. It sleeps nine and comes complete with under-floor heating, luxury bedding, wood-burning stove and outdoor barbecue. The first bedroom connects to an outdoor shower, while the loft’s bath and shower is separate.
