Aan de Oever Guesthouse

At the foot of the emerald Langeberg Mountains and along the gently trickling banks of the Koornlands River, Aan de Oever Guesthouse invites a relaxing and conveniently located stopover for travellers making their way from Cape Town to the Garden Route, and onwards to the Eastern Cape and its Big 5 reserves.

Swellendam is one of the oldest towns in South Africa, and it takes this feat and its ingenuity very seriously, with residents having declared their town a republic in its own right. This intriguing character extends to the various activities on offer, from visits to the Drostdy Museum, a stroll through orchards at Hermitage Youngberry Farm, a round at the local nine-hole golf course or a gentle trot into nature with Two Feathers Horse Trails.
