San Camp is a 12 bedded camp with spacious white canvas tents ala 1940s African safari. There are also two honeymoon tents with four-poster double beds. Rustic but comfortable, authentic safari furnishings include bucket showers, copper water basins, copper water jugs, paraffin lamps and mosquito nets.
There is no electricity at San Camp but one feels such a thing would detract from the ambience anyway. The space here is vast, so each tent sits alone with an incedible view of the endless open pan before it. Romantic, peaceful and serene this oasis of civilization in this stark place takes the breath away!
