Durban and Surrounds

Durban is a charming and cosmopolitan city which also doubles up as Africa's busiest port. With a population of of over three million people, including a sizeable Indian community, it really is South Africa's version of where east meets west. 

Less fast-paced and furious than Johannesburg, Durban is also an excellent business and conference venue and has an array of centres and malls to cater for your shopping needs. The city certainly exudes a relaxed feel with its scenic streets and bustling beachfront. There are also pretty beaches where the water is always warm. Durban is subtropical and never really gets cold so it really is an excellent destination all-year round!
