This is a wonderful itinerary that allows visitors to take in some of Uganda’s best wildlife parks and experiences. Track chimpanzees, see tree-climbing lions, go gorilla trekking and end with some time on a beautiful lake. This itinerary has a little bit of everything.


Day 1: The Boma Hotel, Entebbe

Upon arrival at the Entebbe Airport you will be met and transferred to Boma Hotel. Set in tropical gardens in a leafy suburb, Boma is an ideal stopover for travellers.

Day 2-5: Primate Lodge Luxury Cottages, Kibale Forest National Park

Travel to Primate Lodge in the heart of Kibale Forest National Park for three nights in a forest cottage. Kibale is home to over 13 different species of primates and numerous other mammals, butterflies and birds. The lodge is right next door to the starting point for Chimpanzee tracking excursion.

Day 5-7: Mweya Safari Lodge, Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel to Mweya Safari Lodge which faces out onto the teeming Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. Enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the channel. You may encounter herds of elephant, buffalo and antelope, families of warthog, large groups of hippo, and crocodiles basking on the shore. Go on game drives and spot elephant, leopard, lion and more wild beasts with your expert ranger.

Day 7-10: Ishasha Wilderness Camp, Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel to Ishasha sector of QENP, stopping off at Ishasha Community for a visit. Spend 3 nights at Ishasha Wilderness Camp in a spacious East African tent. This is the remote southern part of the park, ideal for those who want to get into the heart of the African bush. Enjoy game drives and bush walks with your expert guide and you can even spot wildlife from your armchair as elephants wander through camp and animals come to drink from the Ntungwe River.

Day 10 - 13: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Forest Camp is nestled deep inside Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southwest Uganda. This camp is one of the most remote and atmospheric in Africa. Due to its unique location it’s frequently visited by gorilla families and is the perfect base for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to track mountain gorillas.

Day 13-15: Mihingo Lodge, Lake Mburo National Park

Round off your trip with two relaxing days on the picturesque Lake Mburo. Mihingo Lodge has its own infinity pool that stretches to the horizon and below is a waterhole that provides great armchair viewing. You can take a boat cruise down the lake and night drives can also be arranged.

Day 15: Entebbe

Following breakfast, you’ll depart for Entebbe and your flight home.
