Day 1: Lake Victoria Serena, Entebbe

Arrive in Entebbe and spend your first night at Lake Victoria Serena Resort and Spa, which is styled to replicate a classically rustic Roman villa. The resort is set on rolling hills above its own boating marina, PGA-affiliated championship golf course, and the beautiful Lake Victoria.

Day 2-4: Baker's Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park

Baker’s Lodge, on the banks of the mighty Nile, is ideally located for visitors wanting to explore the myriad wonders of Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda and the expansive mahogany trees populating Budongo Forest along with our closest living relative: the chimpanzee. Game drives, boat cruises, and chimpanzee trekking can all be combined to result in a whirlwind East African adventure.

Day 4-6: Ndali Lodge, Kibale Forest National Park

Ndali Lodge is located on the edge of an extinct volcano in the western corner of Uganda in the heart of the Crater Lake region. Head to the Mahoma Waterfall with a local guide and spot birds, butterflies and primates. And of course you can head to the nearby Kibale Forest National Park and track chimpanzees through the lush rainforest!

Day 6-8: Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge, Queen Elizabeth National Park

Travel to Mweya Safari Lodge which faces out onto the teeming Kazinga Channel and Lake Edward. Enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the channel. You may encounter herds of elephant, buffalo and antelope, families of warthog, large groups of hippo, and crocodiles basking on the shore. Go on game drives and spot elephant, leopard, lion and more wild beasts with your expert ranger.

Day 8-11: Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Forest Camp is nestled deep inside Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southwest Uganda. This camp is one of the most remote and atmospheric in Africa. Due to its unique location it is frequently visited by gorilla families and is the perfect base for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to track mountain gorillas.

Day 11-14: Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, Volcanoes National Park

Depart for Rwanda where you’ll stay in Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, situated just one kilometre from the edge of Volcanoes National Park. Attention to detail, luxurious finishes and well trained staff are the hallmarks of this lodge with spectacular views. The primary reason to visit this area is of course for the gorillas. Volcanoes National Park is home to some 300 individuals and there are five habituated families that you can visit.

Day 14: Kigali

After breakfast, depart for Kigali and your flight home.
