Sophisticated comfort in the heart of Stone Town

Park Hyatt Zanzibar is a good base from which to explore the idyllic East African island of Zanzibar and embrace the rich culture, heritage and historical significance of the hotel’s location. It’s on the beachfront in the heart of Stone Town, a designated UNESCO heritage site. It provides the ultimate haven amongst Stone Town’s labyrinth of winding alleys, bustling markets, mosques and famed Zanzibari doors, featuring magnificent ornate wooden carvings.

The Park Hyatt Zanzibar has 67 spacious guest rooms and 11 suites, all offering a private balcony with picturesque views of the dhow harbours and the Indian Ocean. They have large bathrooms with separate bathtub and rain shower facilities. The hotel is housed in two buildings, one of them Mambo Msiige, a building steeped in history, grace and mystique with a story dating back to the 17th century. The new and purpose built Zamani residence connects to Mambo Msiige, blending old with new, historic with contemporary.

Experience Park Hyatt Zanzibar’s Zamani Residence offers a unique dining concept, where guests can enjoy dining in a selection of elegant restaurants showcasing both authentic cuisine and more casual fare. There is a pool bar, library with a veranda, a living room, the main dining room with a terrace and a residential style kitchen.
