Stay in either the luxury beehive huts with spectacular views of the valley, in the well-equipped self-catering cottages with large private gardens facing the Gobolondo Mountain, or in safari tents on decks in the natural forest above the river.

There's plenty to get up to here, including swimming in the natural rock pool near the lower Phophonyane falls, walking trails leading to breathtaking views of the waterfalls, cascades and the surrounding mountains and forest, 4x4 drives to Gobolondlo Mountain, historical sites and the Nsangwini bushmen paintings. You can also visit the nature reserve, see small game such as red duiker and bushbuck, and plenty birdlife.

Go on day trips to the Kruger National Park, only 70 km away, and self-guided excursions to art and craft markets and the Malololtja Nature Reserve and giant Maguga Dam, and more.
