Trails and tranquility in a spectacular valley

The Marataba Trails Lodge offers guests a walking holiday. Professional guides hike with the guests up gorges, across the plains and over the hills to show them the stunning landscapes and wildlife of the impressive Marataba reserve. There are a range of different hikes guests can choose from, all offering an immersive and authentic bush experience.

After a long day of hiking, swimming in the river pools and admiring the abundant wildlife of the park guests can relax in the comfort of the stunning lodge. The spectacular Waterberg Mountain Range stands as a guardian over the reserve with the Trails Lodge sheltered perfectly at the far end of the rich valley. Sunsets catch the Waterberg mountains beautifully and provide a mesmerising show ideally watched from the tranquil deck of the lodge, with a cold drink in hand.

Solar-powered and extremely quiet, the lodge offers an understated luxury that sets it apart from any other trails experience in the country. The Trails Lodge has 5 luxurious suites with private decks and glass showers, all with stunning views of the Waterberg Valley.
