Among boulders & dunes with Wolwedans

Overlooking the alien yet alluring landscape of Namibia’s NamibRand Nature Reserve, Wolwedans Boulders Camp allows privacy, seclusion, and limited numbers of visitors in this wildlife sanctuary. Guests will feel as if they have the landscape all to themselves while enjoying walking safaris, guided game drives, and hot air ballooning to name a few.

The NamibRand Nature Reserve, comprised of several concessions, is a shining example of successful sustainability and continuity in the tourism industry. Extending across over 200,000ha of hauntingly beautiful desert landscape, visitors may spot plains and mountain zebra, bat-eared fox, spotted hyena, leopard, and gemsbok. NamibRand is also conveniently close to Sossusvlei, making it an ideal stopover.

Eight guests are accommodated in Woldedans Boulders Camp’s four spacious, earthy, yet luxurious tents. The main area of the camp boasts a dining and lounge tent, an open fireplace, and a swimming pool overlooking the reserve. Wolwedans is located in the very south of the NamibRand Nature Reserve. When not enjoying the reserve on foot or by vehicle, visitors can marvel at sublime sunsets from the heights of a nearby rock plateau with a sundowner in hand.
