Before you choose your accommodation, you need to decide where to stay in the Bazaruto Archipelago. Most travellers tend to dump their bags on the islands of Bazaruto and Benguerra as they are the largest and most developed in the region. However, the archipelago is also home to Magaruque, Santa Carolina (aka Paradise Island) and Bangue Island, which offer a more remote and rustic stay. The choice is yours and we are more than happy to assist you!
The archipelago is situated just off the coast of Vilanculos, so most visitors pass through this charming seaside town. There are a number of hotels and guesthouses in the town itself. It is worth staying a night but the islands are the real catch as they offer you a private piece of paradise. Of course it is possible to island hop and spend a few nights on the different islands - or you could stay on one and never leave your deckchair! Again the choice is yours.
NB: Our consultants have been to all the properties listed below so they can answer all your questions. Choosing where to stay need not be a hassle - contact us to plan your tailor-made trip!
