Paradise Cove Hotel & Spa on the far North of Mauritius is in the same high class league as some of the far bigger resorts, but offers a more intimate and personal experience. With just 67 rooms it is one of the smaller hotels of it's type and has built a reputation for excellent service, attention to detail and a charming atmosphere reminiscent of the old colonial sugar baron houses. The rooms are modern and comfortable, nestled in award winning tropical gardens on the edge of a sheltered cove and pristine beach. The rooms are all on the first floor and feature private balconies on which you can relax and enjoy the amazing view of one of the largest lagoons in Mauritius as well as five northern islets.
There are three restuarants to choose from, so there will definitely be something for all tastes. From the intimate and romantic beach restarant, La Cocoteraie to the panoramic Bikini bar and Restuarant as well as the Cozy Corner cocktail bar and lounge. Then there is the Cinq Mondes Spa, where you can get massages and full body treatments!
The prevailing winds being offshore on the North coast means that the sea conditions are perfect for water sports. Spending your days out on the water is the thing to do in the North. Whether you choose to take a catamaran trip out to one of the outlying islets for a beach barbecue or stay closer inshore and enjoy watersking, parasailing, windsurfing and a whole host of other activities. Lets not forget that with clear waters, the conditions are perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving and further out to sea you can land a monster fish on a deep sea fishing expedition. The North also has at least two inland places of interest, which are "La Nicoliere" drive and the Pamplemousses botanical Garden, where you can see the famous waterlily pond.
