Luangwa Safari House is a unique offering from Robin Pope Safaris in the 9050 square kilometre South Luangwa National Park. Resembling a castle, the private house caters for a maximum of eight guests and comes with a chef and house manager. There are four large en suite bedrooms, each one individually appointed with a mosquito net and ceiling fan. Two bedrooms are upstairs, each with a suspended wooden balcony, while the downstairs rooms have a private tiled verandah. It is five star at every turn. There is a massive dining and sitting area and the house opens out onto a verandah which provides great views of animals, especially elephants, wandering past. There is a tiled terrace with a large plunge pool to boot. And unlike many camps in South Luangwa, it is open all-year round and is suitable for families with a whole host of activities for children.
Rent the whole place out for you and your loved ones. The house faces out onto a seasonal lagoon which attracts an array of game with the Chindeni Hills in the background. From the terrace, a walkway leads to a wooden deck right in the middle of the lagoon. You can wine and dine under the blues skies or night stars.
The walking safaris recreate the sense of 'wildest Africa' as you track animals across rivers and through the bush. This gives you the amazing opportunity to see, smell, hear and feel Africa on foot. It is 100% safe and you will be accompanied at all times by an experienced and armed ranger. And you can go on morning and afternoon game drives in the South Luangwa National Park, one of Africa's greatest game reserves.
