A mere stone’s throw from the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers, Kakuli Bush Camp promises an authentic experience. South Luangwa National Park is a prime spot for walking safaris. Its heady giraffe, elephant, and buffalo populations complement the abundance of predators in the area, while its numerous water sources keep many of the park’s inhabitants close by. Night drives are permitted in the park, highlighting a totally different perspective of the landscape.
Kakuli Bush Camp’s 4 thatched Tents have views of the river and are made up of reed walls, polished floors, and open-air bathrooms. Guests can decide whether their daily itineraries will consist of vehicle or walking safaris, while the February and March months will see access to activities that take place via boat due to river levels being at their highest.
