Triple Threat Winter Luxury Special

See Southern Africa’s Finest this Winter

Overview

Our Triple Threat Winter Luxury Special packs a punch, allowing guests to experience three of Southern Africa’s highlights in only the most luxurious of environments over 12 magical days. Start your journey in South Africa’s Mother City, Cape Town, with a stay at MannaBay Boutique Hotel, nestled below Table Mountain. Next up, jet off to Kapama Game Reserve for a Big 5 safari before ending your journey on the banks of the Zambezi River with Victoria Falls a 30 minute drive away.

Day 1-5 : MannaBay, Cape Town

On the slopes of Table Mountain lies MannaBay, an award-winning boutique hotel that stays a favourite among discerning travellers for its captivating views spanning the Mother City, dazzling Atlantic Ocean and majestic Table Mountain.

At MannaBay, there is no shortage of luxuriant comfort for guests. With a library of travel literature, complimentary English breakfasts, a dedicated tour desk and a rooftop bar perfectly suited for sundowners, chances are once you check in, you won’t want to check out any time soon. With a maximum of only 16 guests you can be assured of attentive service to go with these fabulous facilities.

All rooms include a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, air conditioning, under-floor heating in both the bedroom and bathroom, Wi-Fi, GHD straightener, hairdryer as well as Country Road beach bags with towels. The décor is exquisite, sourced from all around the world and incorporated with inspirational imagination.

Accommodation is in a Luxury Room or similar.
B&B basis with local beverages.

Camp Jabulani gets its name from an orphan baby elephant that was brought to the owners for rehabilitation. The owners adopted the little one, along with other orphaned elephants from Zimbabwe and the lodge soon became a sanctuary for them and other endangered species.

Despite being 5-star, Relais & Châteaux-accredited luxury in the Kapama Private Game Reserve, the accommodation at Camp Jabulani could pass almost unnoticed due to the dominating presence of the herd of elephants that call Camp Jabulani home.

Accommodation at Camp Jabulani is opulent with rich and creamy silkiness astride raw textures and bold shapes. The 6 Thatched Suites are palatial and secluded with open-plan en-suite bathrooms, an outdoor shower and a lounge area with a fireplace.

Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport in Zambia and after a scenic transfer to Royal Chundu, guests are sure to be instantly enthralled by the lodge’s splendid location on the lush banks of the lazily flowing Zambezi River.

Royal Chundu River Lodge is a place of absolute solitude and unspoilt beauty, with 20km of private river frontage and a plethora of world-class activities. Spacious suites and lounging areas masterfully blend colonial elegance and African charm, offering luxurious thatched accommodation in 14 beautiful villas. Of those, 10 are perched on the banks of the Zambezi, while 4 private suites with their own lounge, dining and pool area are located on Katombora Island, 4 kilometres upstream from the main lodge.

Of course, there is still the natural wonder of Victoria Falls and all that comes with it just a short drive away, which will be the perfect way to cap off a dream trip.
