One of Lake Manyara National Park’s most exquisite spots, &Beyond’s Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is what happens when you combine the child-like wonder of a tree house with the desire for luxurious accommodation. These magnificent tree-house suites offer the extra-special experience of lounging among thick mahogany treetops, where the rustling of leaves at night has been known to give guests some of the best sleep of their lives.
Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, which can be seen resting in favoured spots during morning and afternoon game drives. Elephant sightings are also frequent and serve as a testament to how well the elephant population has recovered from over a decade of illegal poaching that has occurred in the region.
The tree-house suites are an experience in their own right. Each features a private verandah and huge windows opening onto the lush treetops. Surrounded by textures of wood and thatch, you will instantly feel at one with the surroundings. The main-lodge tree house features a sizeable swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and shaded by the surrounding tree canopies.
