Nomad Chada Katavi

Nomad Chada Katavi is a seasonal camp in Katavi National Park in spectacular Tanzania overlooking the Chada floodplain. Delight in panoramic views over the wilderness with an authentic African safari experience to match.

Venture out on morning and evening game drives where you’ll encounter buffalo, elephants and lions. Local guides and trackers get you closer to the earth with a series of bush walks and walking safaris. For a special experience, opt to go on a fly camp adventure with an evening spent out in the bush. Back at the camp, unwind by the fire with sundowners or spy some colourful birdlife from the raised platforms overlooking the surrounds.

Stay in one of only six classic safari tents, each decorated in old-world style with wooden furniture and comfortable amenities along with a bush bathroom behind it. The on-site culinary team whips up delicious African cuisine and serves it al fresco or in your tent as you prefer.
