The 23,000-hectare &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve is regarded as an exemplary model of conservation, community upliftment, and eco-tourism done right. The once-degraded farmland has been lovingly restored to its former pristine glory, and herds of game (particularly cheetah, nyala antelope, and the endangered black rhino) have been relocated here en masse. Guests can experience Phinda’s wildlife on walking safaris, cruises, as well as day and night game drives.

Accommodation consists of six Luxury Suites, each with its own private plunge pool and viewing deck. Three of the Suites come with outdoor showers.
