Jock Safari Lodge

A legendary bushveld experience

Jock Safari Lodge incorporates the romance and elegance of a bygone era, and reflects the indigenous Zulu and Shangaan cultures in its unique style. The lodge was the first private lodge to be granted a concession in the Kruger National Park

Jock’s offers plenty of ways to explore the surrounding African wilderness - morning and evening game drives, walking safaris, bird-watching and even frogging safaris are offered. The African cuisine served at Jock’s incorporates an abundance of flavours accumulated on the routes followed by the author Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. The head chef of Jock and her passionate team conjure up dishes of legendary proportions, allowing your taste buds to follow their own African journey.

Each of the available 12 Suites are named after places of interest in the story of Jock of the Bushveld and come with their own personal sala (thatched viewing deck), plunge pool, Victorian ball-and-claw bath, his and hers vanities and an outdoor shower. The Suites are also fully equipped with 5-star amenities such as air conditioning, fans, tea-and-coffee-making facilities, mini-bar and safe.
