Desiré’s Ultimate Cape, Rail and Safari Combo

Desiré’s Ultimate Cape, Rail and Safari Combo

Desiré is so passionate about a safari and believes so wholeheartedly that it’s the most rejuvenating experience anyone can indulge in, that she has listed a second personal favourite itinerary which is the Ultimate Cape, Rail and Safari Expedition.
You will start your trip in glorious and ever-popular Cape Town where you will stay at one of the city’s premier hotels, the One&Only. After four nights in the Mother City, you will move to the nearby Winelands to take in the gorgeous scenery and award-winning wines. A luxurious ride on the Blue Train will take you to the north of the country where you will spend one night at The Residence before heading off on safari.
Your first stop on the safari leg of your tour is at the always impressive Londolozi Tree Camp, one of the best places in Africa to see leopards. The wildlife sightings are exceptional here, as they are at your next destination, Royal Malewane. Spend your final four nights here as you lap up the luxury and wildlife encounters before heading back to Johannesburg after 17 days of South Africa’s best attractions.

Arrive in Cape Town and get transferred privately to the One&Only. The hotel is located in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, one of Cape Town's premier tourist attractions with an array of bars, restaurants and shops scattered around the historic harbour. The hotel affords wonderful views of Table Mountain and is just a short distance away from the city centre.
