Hailed as one of the first and oldest in the country, Bambatsi Guest Farm’s location high up on a plateau showcases Namibia’s natural beauty and offers seemingly endless views across the mopane landscape. With the iconic Etosha National Park, home to the Etosha Pan, only 2 hours away, Bambatsi is the ideal place to relax when breaking your journey.
Aside from Etosha National Park, the roads around the guest farm lead to other areas of interest. Spend a day at Vingerklip, meaning ‘finger stone’, a towering rock formation resembling a finger rising from the earth. Otherwise, drive out to Twyfelfontein and marvel at one of Africa’s most extensive natural galleries of rock art, estimated to be around 6,000 years old.
Each bungalow on the farm has a patio, mosquito net, and en-suite bathroom. Depending on the size of your party and your needs, 2 – 4 beds can be placed in your bungalow. There are also two campsites, Biro Camp and Camp Gik, as well as a pool and bar on the property.
