The Dona Ana Hotel has been closed for nearly 30 years but will open its doors again to tourists visiting the Bazaruto Archipelago Island. The original art will form part of the new hotel bringing the hotel back to its former glory days. The hotel has 22 rooms in the main hotel, including a honeymoon suite and two executive suites, as well as 32 beach units which open directly to beach. The hotel has interleading rooms which are ideal for families travelling together.
For meals guests will have a choice of two restaurants serving a mixture of African and Portuguese cuisine. Great food goes nicely with drinks and the hotel has two poolside bars with great views of the beach. The Caju pool bar is a perfect place to soak up some sun and enjoy a light meal or cocktails in the evenings while watching the sunset. Ócio pool bar is more of a stop and go bar before heading to your next activity and busier than the Caju pool bar. With Bazaruto Archipelago Island just a short distance away the hotel offers a number of water based sports which include diving, snorkelling, fishing, boat trips and much more.
