Lake Naivasha Country Club opened in 1937 as a staging post for Imperial Airways' flying boat service from Durban to London. And it remains as popular today as it was then. It is perfectly positioned on the lake shore with a backdrop of green manicured gardens and yellow-barked acacia trees housing the cheeky Colobus monkey. And spot the African Fish Eagle - Naivasha has the highest concentration of these birds in the world
There is a large variety of accommodation to choose from. There are 46 twin rooms, 5 cottage rooms and 1 executive lake cottage. The rooms can cater for couples or pick a cottage if you are with the kids. Most rooms provide panoramic views over the gardens and lake.
Cruise off to Crescent Island!
This private game sanctuary is a 15 minute scenic boat ride across the lake from the hotel. It is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats and giraffe. Since there are no fences or predators, you can walk amongst the animals at will.
