The understated, ‘50s-style Machaba Camp is located in the game-rich Khwai area of the Okavango Delta. Machaba trees, from which the camp gets its name, are plentiful in the Delta and provide food for a wide variety of wildlife, from elephants and baboons to bushbuck and green pigeons.
Because of these trees, game-viewing and bird-watching around Machaba Camp is always an exciting experience, with plenty to see at every turn. And thanks to the open-air safari vehicles used on game drives, avid photographers will have endless opportunities to snap that perfect picture.
