Kanto is originally from Madagascar and is perhaps one of the rare Malagasy that speaks Afrikaans, as South Africa has been her home since 2006. She was born and bred in the Tourism and Hospitality industry, holds a degree in Tourism Management and has over 10 years of experience in sales, product & marketing management of Southern African destinations. A passionate solo traveler, she has extensively traveled in Europe, Asia and North america but also all over Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. Other than her passion for travel, she is a lover of life, an avid scuba-diver, a musician, an art lover, a photographer and a recently confirmed baby mountain biker. When she is not sharing her love of the African continent with her colleagues, clients or with complete strangers on an airplane, she spends most of her time outdoors. A foodie and a wine lover, she loves hosting dinners but also enjoys dining at many award winning restaurants in Cape Town and the winelands.
