Savanna Private Game Reserve is located within the world-famous Sabi Sand Reserve, which shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park. This is without a doubt the prime game viewing region in South Africa, with a dense concentration of game including the magnificent Seven - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, cheetah and wild dog. In addition, there are over 450 bird species and an abundance of plains game, as well as hippo and crocodile to boot.

Guests can relax in the lounge and dining area, and enjoy armchair game viewing as animals flock to the nearby waterhole. Just a short distance from the waterhole lies the sparkling swimming pool, where guests can catch a tan or cool down during the heat of day. There is a boma where guests can gather round a roaring fire and recount the unforgettable events of their day on Safari. There are a range of massage and therapy treatments available so you can soothe your mind, body and soul in a serene bush setting.

Accommodation at Savanna comes in the form of luxurious bush suites, with a tented roof and draped inner ceiling. The four Luxury Suites are their entry-level room, but they are anything but standard with spacious and elegant interiors, an electronic safe, well stocked mini bar and private verandah. The three Executive Suites are more decadent with a private plunge pool and wooden deck, with space for a third person to boot. And for the utmost in privacy, there is the Savanna Suite made up of two separate, en-suite bedrooms, connected by a lounge and dining area. It is perfect for large groups or families and comes with a private landrover, personal ranger and tracker as well as a private dining option!
