Our Mala Mala Video gives you an Overview of the Mala Mala Lodges in Kruger Park and the spectacular game-viewing this area has to offer.
While it may be a landmark and one of the most famous private reserves in South Africa, MalaMala Game Reserve has just three lodges whose guests have exclusive access to 16,000 hectares of pristine African bush. An equation that suits both man and beast. The reserve shares 19km of its border with the Kruger National Park and the animals come and go as the please. The habitats are diverse ranging from savannah woodland to riverine thickets. Game-viewing is excellent and the perennial Sand River flows for 20km through the western section of the reserve.
MalaMala Game Reserve forms a large part of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which shares a fenceless boundary with the Kruger National Park and adds to the 2.2 million hectare nature conservancy that makes up the greater Kruger region.
