It's not often that Rhino Africa gets excited about a new lodge or hotel, but after our visit to Jamala Madikwe we had plenty to rave about! A new addition to the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, this luxury lodge really is the ideal base to explore 75,000 hectares of untamed wilderness and left us somewhat spellbound.
The lodge is sheltered by ancient Leadwood trees and faces out onto a waterhole - so you can experience incredible game viewing without leaving your armchair, and ice-cold drink of course! The outdoor boma area is ideal for warm summer nights, with a roaring fire to keep you warm in the winter. Relax in the swimming pool between game activities, lap up the sun on the wooden deck, with the sights and sounds of the bush around you all the time!
