A unique establishment in the Crater Lake region

Ndali Lodge is located on the edge of an extinct volcano in the western corner of Uganda in the heart of the Crater Lake region. Water has filled the caldera of the volcano turning it into the present-day Lake Nyinambuga. The lodge is about 45 minutes away from Kibale Forest National Park - Uganda's premier destination for chimpanzee tracking.

The lodge itself consists of 8 well-appointed bandas which provide panoramic views of the lake and the majestic Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. Each banda has an en-suite bathroom and a private balcony from which you can appreciate the surrounding scenery. The dining room is an elegant place to enjoy the top-class cuisine prepared by the local chef and there is a lounge to kick back during the day. The lighting is rather romantic - either by candle or lantern - and there is a supply of hot water!

Ndali Lodge is located in quite an unbelievable setting on the rim of an extinct volcano which has since filled up with water to become a vast lake. These crater lakes are a landmark of Uganda and quite a phenomenon. You can swim in Lake Nyinambuga and go walking amidst the craters of forgotten volcanoes. Head to the Mahoma Waterfall with a local guide and spot birds, butterflies and primates. And of course you can head to the nearby Kibale Forest National Park and track chimpanzees through the lush rainforest!
