Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge offers an exceptional wilderness experience and great value for money. Perched on the eastern rim of the crater, the lodge faces out onto the world's largest unbroken caldera which is about 19km wide and is surrounded by cliffs that reach 610m!
Accommodation is simple but comfortable. There are 91 double bedrooms which have two queen sized beds and a separate dressing area. Should you be travelling alone, there are also 6 single rooms, and each room has a glass fronted verandah which offers panoramic views. The dining area is shaped like a round hut with a high roof and large glass windows which face onto the plains.

Whether you are religious or not, experience heavenly game viewing in the heart of the Ngorongoro Crater. Africa's Garden of Eden is home to the Big Five and it is not uncommon to spot these mighty beasts on a single game drive. Furthermore, it remains one of the few places in the world to see the endangered black rhino, there are flamingos and hippo on Lake Makat and a huge variety of plains game, including wildebeest and zebra.
