Africa on Foot Camp is a no-frills, no-fuss lodge in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. This reserve is located west of Timbavati and shares a fenceless border with the Kruger National Park, allowing animals to roam freely between the two. It is removed from the throngs of tourists in the main section of the park, giving its guests an intimate and exclusive safari experience. The main lodge contains a lounge area, bar and library. The dining room has a large table where guests dine together and share stories of the day's game sightings. Camp fires are lit in the boma, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks.

Accommodation comes in the form of five chalets and a tree house, where more adventurous guests can sleep under the stars. Two of the chalets are ideal for families with a double bed and two single beds for the kids. And there is a plunge pool and wooden deck area where guests can catch a tan and cool down during the heat of the day.

As the name would suggest, Africa on Foot Camp is renowned for its walking safaris, where you really can appreciate the essence of the virgin bush. These safaris are led by experienced rangers who have specialized training in approaching dangerous game, and you will be taught how to encounter animals. The Big Five abound in the reserve, as well as plains game and birdlife, and you can also spot these animals from traditional morning and evening game drives.

Africa on Foot Camp is located in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park. Guests can catch scheduled flights from Johannesburg or Cape Town to Hoedspruit Airport from where it is a 30 minute road transfer to the lodge.
