Day 1 – 4: Cape Grace, Cape Town

Your luxury tour starts on arrival at Cape Town International Airport. We’ll meet you in our Rhino Africa colours and transfer you directly to the Cape Grace Hotel in the heart of the magnificent V&A Waterfront – one of South Africa’s top attractions. The transfer will take about 20 minutes.

The Cape Grace Hotel is one of Cape Town’s (and indeed South Africa’s) finest five-star hotels. Situated on a private dock in the marina this stately hotel mixes refined luxury with modern amenities in a location worthy of royalty.

Cape Town is everybody’s favourite African city and it’s not difficult to see why. Cape Town features wine farms, glamorous citylife, Blue Flag beaches, unique nature reserves and a jam-packed calendar of cultural events year round. And all this drama unfolds under the graceful omniscience of Table Mountain and its attendant peaks running the length of the peninsula.

Spend four days exploring Cape Town including a private city tour (included), a private Cape Peninsula tour (included) and a private Cape Winelands tour (also included as part of your transfer to Franschhoek). Day 4 – 5: La Residence, Franschhoek

From Cape Town we provide you with a private wine tour that culminates in a transfer to La Residence in the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek.

La Residence is another landmark hotel in South Africa and the sumptuous rooms, exceptional service and complete privacy earn this boutique hotel many accolades year after year. Spend a night here in pampered luxury before heading out towards the Garden Route the following morning.

After your wine tour transfer you may want to relax at your fabulous hotel and enjoy a decadent high tea on the grounds. If you’ve still got energy to explore there is much to see and do around Franschhoek not least of which is the fine dining experience to be found at any one of several excellent restaurants in town. Or you could eat in and continue the relaxing rejuvenation.

Day 5 – 7: Kanonkop Guest House, Knysna

After a leisurely breakfast we transfer you along the picturesque Route 62 road to the luxurious Kanonkop Guesthouse overlooking Knysna Lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route. On the way we’ll stop at Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn to explore the world’s eerie final frontier: underground.

At Kanonkop, you’ve got the master suite - aptly named the Paradise Room and rated one of the best suites in Knysna – with sweeping views across the lagoon, aeons of space and all the mod cons of the mod-con world.

Spend two nights in paradise with the following activities included: boat trip and visit to Featherbed Nature Reserve across the lagoon followed by lunch; oyster tastings; elephant sanctuary; bird sanctuary and primate sanctuary.

Day 7 – 10: Ecca Lodge, Kwandwe Private Game Reserve

From the beaches of the Garden Route you head inland to the magnificent Kwandwe Private Game Reserve near Port Elizabeth for 4 days of big five malaria-free safari.

Kwandwe Private Game Reserve is a large and beautiful big 5 destination about two hours’ drive north of Port Elizabeth. With a coastal influence, rolling hills and 22,000ha of play area, the wildlife, birdlife and scenery are, in a word, awesome.

The park supports all the large mammals of Africa including elephant, black and white rhino, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, kudu, grysbok and many other antelopes, nocturnal predators and rare small animals.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge is a small, modern and luxurious safari lodge. Playful decor belies an operation of extreme professionalism with incredible attention to detail, exceptional service and five-star amenities.

From Cape Town we provide you with a private wine tour that culminates in a transfer Le Franschhoek Hotel overlooking the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek.

Le Franschhoek Hotel is a five-star hotel with a beautiful view of the Franschhoek Valley and the sheer peaks on either side. Spend a night here in refined luxury before heading out to the coastal town of Knysna the following day.

After your wine tour transfer you may want to relax at the hotel and enjoy a decadent high tea and a snooze. If you’ve still got energy to explore there is much to see and do around Franschhoek not least of which is the fine dining experience to be found at any one of several excellent restaurants in town. Or you could eat in after  a rejuvenating session at the hotel spa.

Day 5 -7: The Lofts, Knysna

After a leisurely breakfast we transfer you along the picturesque Route 62 road to The Lofts, which is situated in the coastal town of Knysna along the Western Cape's popular Garden Route, only about a five hour drive from Cape Town.

The hotel is just a few feet away from the Knysna Lagoon and provides stunning views of its path towards the Indian Ocean. And it is just a short walk from the town centre and hubbub of Knysna with its collection of cafes, bars, restaurants and quaint buildings.

Day 7 – 10: Pumba Water Lodge, Pumba Private Game Reserve

From the beaches of the Garden Route you head inland to the wonderful Pumba Water Lodge an hour’s drive inland from Port Elizabeth for 4 days of big five malaria-free safari.

After your wine tour transfer you may want to relax at the wine farm soaking in the glorious view but if you’ve still got energy to explore there is much to see and do around Franschhoek.

Day 5 – 7: Knysna Hollow Country Estate, Knysna

After a leisurely breakfast we transfer you along the picturesque Route 62 road to the charming Knysna Hollow Country Estate a short drive from the town of Knysna in the heart of the Garden Route. On the way we’ll stop at Cango Caves near Oudtshoorn to explore the world’s last frontier: underground.

Knysna Hollow Country Estate is a string of rooms and chalets spread out among the beautiful gardens with big old trees, manicured lawns and cute bridges over babbling brooks. Accommodation is comfortable and stylish and life revolves around the Manor House which has a cosy restaurant, bar and lounge area.
